Well here are some pictures with the engine in the truck and about 600 miles on it.

So far I've been real happy with it. The last motor was a good torque motor and this one seems to pull up to about 4000 as well or a little better, but over 4000 it really comes alive.

I was running at what will be a un-disclosed location and was running with the transmission in drive. It ran up to 5000 in 3rd which is about 115 mph and where the 700 tranny will upshift into 4th (overdrive) on its own. The last engine would pull the 5000 in 3rd without much problem, but would fall on it's face after the shift and continue pulling at a very slow rate.....

This engine hit 5000, shifted and just kept pulling. I then made the pull again, but kept the transmission in 3rd so that it wouldn't upshift on it's own. It pulled very easily in 3rd up to 5500 (low 130's) and was still pulling strong when I decide that maybe I should wait until I had better tires on and no passengers, etc., etc. until I did see how fast it might go in this configuration.

Well that is all for now and hopefully this next winter I'll be first making the conversion to EFI and then once I have that down to a turbo/turbos. When I do that I'll continue posting,
